It’s cold. You don’t want to go out to the movies. Why not stay home and dig through your old DVD’s (or maybe even VHS tapes) for a great old movie to watch? Maybe you’ve seen it so many times, you don’t really even need to sit down and watch it. You put in on for the background noise while you’re working on your computer or doing the dishes. I know that’s the way I often watch movies. And in these instances Chick Flicks fit the bill. Don’t get me wrong. I love a good action/adventure, drama or even horror movie. But for those movies you need to pay attention. It’s hard to plug in “Die Hard” and just casually watch. But with some of my favorite Chick Flicks, it’s about the dialogue. You can just listen and enjoy the greatness.
So today, I’ve decided to present you the 5 most watchable Chick Flicks – those movies I don’t seem to mind watching over and over again. They might not be the best movie, but they’re on hand. To help with the movie review, two of my favorite Areavoices bloggers: Jared and Cody from Movies in the Mancave.
Enjoy! And let me know what your top five might be!
i could watch this….. or I could go listen to paint dry
Did you watch it with the volume turned to 11 Nigel? That might help.
And let’s not forget Nigel…there’s a fine line between stupid and ..uh..clever.
kinda like the fine line between bad journalism and CRAP
Well, Nigel, I guess we’re just not your cup of tea. You have a nice day anyway!
My dad, brother, and boyfriend all love the quirky comedy of Love Actually.
I think I can speak for the males here and say I actually LOVE sex in the city….. am I right or am I right?
