Being sensual isn’t just about being sexy, it’s about being in tune with your senses. How you feel on the outside, and more importantly, on the INSIDE will depend on how you feel sensually and sexually.
Happy Body/Hot Life columnist Chris Linnares gives us tips on how to be more sensual while showing us how to make her amazing Brazilian stroganoff!

When did watching TV get so complicated? Do I really need all these remotes?
Tracy Briggs gets the answer at the Red River Valley Home and Garden Show.
Everybody compares themselves to one another. You see a beautiful person and think “I wish I looked more like them” or “I wish I was that athletic”, etc. But what if that’s what’s stopping you from enjoying the wonderful things your relationship can give to you?
Happy Body/Hot life columnist Chris Linnares tells us how you can use that comparison and turn it into a GOOD comparision to make yourself feel better on the inside while having a happier relationship with your partner.
One of the hardest things for people to do is to remember to be grateful. It’s so much easier to think negatively about yourself and your life than it is to be grateful for who you are and all the things you have. Don’t confuse being humble with being grateful, be proud of who you are and accept all the great things about you!
Happy Body/Hot Life columnist Chris Linnares talks about how accepting yourself for who you are and being grateful for all the wonderful things about you can increase your confidence and help you live that hot life you deserve!
Everyone has the negative neighbor inside your head telling you that you’re not good enough, you’re not smart enough and talks you out of the things you really want to do. Well don’t let it! You need to have confidence to lift yourself up and keep your confidence and shut out that negative neighbor!
Happy Body/Hot Life columnist Chris Linnares spoke at her Diva Playdates event about bringing up your confidence through yourself and with faith.
I’ve interviewed many people in my very long career in journalism, but Jean Arnberg is one of the most memorable. Jean is one of the many women nominated by her loved ones as a Beautiful Women in the Beautiful Women project by Forum Communications Company.
Today, I sat down with Jean for an interview in her home where she told me about playing piano for North Dakota celebrities and what she’s always wanted her daughters to remember.
Make sure YOU nominate the Beautiful Women in your life today, they might be featured in an upcoming story!
Yeah. Well, kind of.
I’m not really talking about Ed Schultz, MSNBC star. I’m talking about Ed before “The Ed Show” when he was the sports anchor of WDAY-TV.
I used to work with Ed back then as a news reporter, producer and anchor. I watched Ed and the other sports guys cover the scores and highlights every night. But I also noticed them having a blast doing something else. That got me to thinking. The end result is this blog segment. Watch this video for more details.
So you’ve invited some friends over for St. Patrick’s Day. The corned beef and cabbage are cooking (I hope it tastes better than it smells). But what are you going to serve them to drink? Brian Frank from Happy Harry’s met Tracy at Redford’s to talk about the best Irish drinks to serve (and yes, you can still serve green beer).
Here are the recipes, Brian mentions in the video post.
Bushmills Irish Coffee

- 3 fl oz Coffee

Fill glass half full with Harp Lager. Next pour Guinness over the back side of a spoon slowly until glass is full. If done correctly the Guinness will stay on top and the Harp Lager on bottom.

Fill glass half full with Angry Orchard Cider. Next pour Guinness over the back side of a spoon slowly until glass is full. If done correctly the Guinness will stay on top and the Angry Orchard Cider on bottom.
Relaxing and reclining at home just got easier and more powerful! Tracy Briggs shows us the latest in power couches.
If you’re tired of the grape juice stains and the chipped formica, it might be time for new kitchen countertops. But do you need to hire a professional or can you do it yourself?
Tracy Briggs stopped out the The Red River Valley Home and Garden Show recently to find out.
Your mom gave you her best ham recipe and Aunt Judy is bringing the green bean casserole. But what do you do about the wine?
Tracy Briggs and Brian Frank have the answers.

When coming up with the perfect pairing of wine to go with any meal, in this case Easter, you sometimes have to look beyond what the main course centers around, whether its turkey, ham, or beef
roast. The main reason is because if your holiday meals are anything like your family meals, there are so many more side dishes and choices to go along with the main course. These side dishes bring in an array of flavors and textures that should not be over-looked. Offering several different types of wines both red and white will satisfy the taste profiles of your complete meal and your guests will be
smiling too.
Below is a food and wine pairing guide, but like I stated above sometimes you have to look
beyond the main course and think of all the side dishes being served…

So you’d love a leather couch, but you don’t love the cost. Here’s an idea.
There are so many people in the world that do so many beautiful things.
You wonder, “How do they get there? How do they have the ability and the strength to accomplish everything they have?”
The answer you’ll probably get from a lot of these amazing people, is their faith.
Happy Body/Hot Life columnist Chris Linnares speaks at the Multiple Sclerosis Luncheon and uses her experience from the Beautiful Women Of project, the beautiful women she met a long the way and a new look at a well-known bible story to show how faith will always lift you up and help you back to where you belong.
It takes a lot ot be able to love yourself for who you are, inside and out. People say all you need to do is believe you are beautiful, kind and lovable and if you believe, all of that will come true. Well, we have a different message. We don’t want you to “believe”, we want you to know!
Happy Body/Hot Life columnist Chris Linnares talks at the 2011 Women’s Showcase and tells the message to go beyond believing, and know who you truly are.
We all know those people who always put themselves down, can’t take a compliment or don’t think they’re good enough. Maybe that person is even yourself!
The good news is, there are ways to overcome those feelings. Happy Body, Hot Life columnist Chris Linnares speaks at the Women’s Showcase about your neighbors “littleness syndrome” and ways to help yourself and others with it.
You know those moments when you’re craving that salty snack or that sweet treat, when you know you shouldn’t have it but it just sounds SO GOOD… Did you ever think that maybe it’s not those unhealthy treats you’re craving? What you’re doing is mentally wanting to have that food when physically you’re craving the natural vitamins and sugars unhealthy snacks just don’t give to you.
Happy Body/Hot Life columnist Chris Linnares tells us how we can overcome those cravings while giving us a GREAT banana protein pancake recipe to help keep you healthy, full and finally satisfy those cravings in the right way!
One of the definitions of resurrection is the state of one who has returned to life. Resurrection is a revival. To resurrect or revive what you have lost, something has to die. Whether it be your selfishness, a grudge you’ve been holding onto or anything that’s been keeping you from living the life you deserve, let those things die. Resurrect yourself or your relationship to bring back to life the person you know you can be.
Happy Body/Hot Life Columnist Chris Linnares shares her powerful message at the Women’s Showcase about how to resurrect your life with your inner strength and the help of others.
The Diva Connection Foundation was founded in 2010 by Chris Linnares, international author, and renowned Brazilian Psychotherapist. The idea for Diva Connection was formulated years ago due to Chris’s personal struggles.
After getting married and leaving a successful career in the tropics of Brazil to move to the tundra of Fargo, North Dakota, Linnares needed to start everything from scratch. At that time, she experienced how a simple connection can have the power to transform someone’s life. “I didn’t know anyone besides my husband; I didn’t know the language enough to be able to work. I felt lost and depressed, and I remember the day my brother connected me with an English teacher from North Carolina –a single mom of 2 kids. She decided to donate 1 hour of her time every two weeks to teach me English. If it weren’t for her I would have never been able to do what I now do today.”
“I truly believe that sometimes to start GIVING big things to the world, we first just need to RECEIVE a little help.”
In Part Two of our Cinco de Mayo celebration, Brian Frank of Happy Harry’s talks to Tracy about the best Mexican beers to serve at your party and how Mexicans know how to serve an after dinner drink.
But what about that lime in your beer? Turns out Americans got it all wrong.
Well, the answer is simple. Saturday is Cinco de Mayo. Cinco de Mayo—or the fifth of May—commemorates the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867). A relatively minor holiday in Mexico, in the United States Cinco de Mayo has evolved into a celebration of Mexican culture and heritage. (History Channel.)
We might be a couple thousand miles away from Mexico, but there’s no reason we can’t celebrate the day in style.
Brian Frank from Happy Harry’s takes Tracy through the best tequilas to buy for your Cinco de Mayo celebration and talks to one West Fargo who takes the holiday very seriously.
Appearance matters. That’s why so many of us pay attention to the flashier parts of building or remodeling our homes. But the little things make a huge difference in saving you money as Tracy Briggs found out at the Red River Valley Home and Garden Show.
Many people are pretty conservative in decorating their kitchens. But backsplashes are one way to inject a little fun into the busiest room in the house.
A visit to the Red River Valley Home and Garden Show proved educational.
